Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available but it's always a good idea to make arrangements in advance. Please reach out to Katie or Peter if you need a recommended car service or shuttle.

Please note the ferry books well in advance. We encourage you to buy tickets before arriving at the marina. Your ferry tickets are always transferable across various departure times so don’t stress if you miss your boat!
The ferry leaves the mainland on the hour from Deep Point Marina located at 1301 Ferry Road. Southport, N.C. Round trip ferry tickets are $23 per person and $12 for child between the ages of 3 and 12. Children 2 and under sail for free.
Please note the first ferry typically leaves the island at 7:30am, meaning your earliest possible arrival time at the airport will be 8:30am. Plan accordingly!

Yes, there is a grocery store called The Maritime Market, which is located in the center of the island. Beer and wine can be purchased at the market, and there is a very small local distillery, the Tipsy Toad, which sells liquor. We encourage you buy preferred hard liquor at the ABC in Southport, NC, or pack in your luggage, before coming over on the ferry.
Cocktails can of course be purchased at all bars and restaurants.

Yes, you can rent all sporting equipment necessary to enjoy leisure activities while on the island. If you intend to rent golf clubs please reach out to Peter Burrus or Bob Wood in advance!

On Saturday, please wear formal attire. We encourage long dresses for women and suits for men.
Welcome party attire will be cocktail casual. Collared shirts and dresses preferred.
